Where can I take an Ethics webinar to comply with my credentials. I need 1.5 credits.
Thanks,
Here are some resources to help you find classes on ethics. This list is not comprehensive:
NOTIS International Translator's Day @ The Museum of Flight on September 30, 2023 will include an ethics class.
NOTIS lists many classes under "calendar" on the website: https://www.notisnet.org/Events
The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) lists classes for those who have log-in privileges on their website. The approved classes are listed at the bottom of the compliance page; you have to scroll through about 30 pages in order to get to upcoming classes: Washington State Courts - Court Interpreters - Court Interpreter Program
The American Translators Association (ATA) also offers classes: https://www.atanet.org/ata-events/seminars-and-workshops/
DSHS offers an annual ethics training and credit for interpreters registered through The Secure Access Washington (SAW) portal: https://secureaccess.wa.gov/myAccess/saw/select.do
DSHS maintains a list of currently approved continuing education opportunities, including ethics training, on their website, also in the SAW portal.
Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI): https://cchicertification.org/
National Board of Certified Medical Interpreters (NBCMI): https://www.certifiedmedicalinterpreters.org/
