Join your fellow NOTIS members for a night out at Tacoma Little Theatre to watch Lorca in a Green Dress, a powerful play by Pulitzer Prize-winner Nilo Cruz. Katerina Warns from the Social Events Committee will be attending and looks forward to enjoying the event with you!
About the Play
Lorca in a Green Dress pays tribute to the legendary Spanish poet and playwright Federico García Lorca (Gypsy Ballads, Mariana Pineda, Play Without a Title). After his tragic execution by fascist forces in 1936 during the Spanish Civil War, Lorca finds himself in the mysterious "Lorca Room" in purgatory, where he must remain for 40 days.
Told through flamenco-inspired drama and surreal storytelling, the play explores Lorca’s life, creativity, and the meaning of love and death. Five different actors portray aspects of Lorca’s personality in this mesmerizing theatrical experience.
⭐ Featuring: NOTIS member and volunteer Arwen Dewey in the role of the Flamenco Dancer.

Before the show, we invite you to join us for a casual meet-up at Beer Star Tacoma. Beer Star offers a variety of “thoughtfully curated” drinks for purchase and allows guests to bring their own food or buy food from the local food truck. Please indicate if you're interested when registering.
