About the Presenter
Sian Gu is a conference interpreter and interpreter trainer based in Vancouver, Canada. She loves splitting her time between interpreting, teaching, practicing, and organizing.
Before interpretation, Sian was a marketing consultant for Canada’s top retailer. She is passionate about lifelong learning, organic growth, and helping others authentically lean into and carve out their unique career paths.
Sian is a government of Canada accredited interpreter and a member of AIIC. She holds a Master’s of Conference Interpreting (MCI) degree from Glendon, York University, where she is currently part-time lecturer.
