INTERPRETING FOR CANCER GENETICS - ONLINE - FALL 2023
This seven-hour class prepares interpreters to provide accurate interpreting for encounters in which cancer genetics is being discussed. An interactive PowerPoint presentation interspersed with quizzes and polls is followed by exercises with English vocabulary and exercises in converting English cancer genetics sentences into a non-English language. Bilingual cancer genetics glossaries are provided in English-Spanish, English-Russian, and English-Traditional Chinese. Accredited for 6.5 credits with CCHI, 0.7 credits with IMIA, and 7 credits with DSHS.
