The Northwest Literary Translators welcome translator Tara Chace and AmazonCrossing editor Elizabeth DeNoma at Folio this month for a discussion of their recent English translation of The Man Who Played With Fire, Jan Stocklassa's book about celebrated author Stieg Larsson's secret research into the 1986 real-life murder of Olof Palme. Translator and editor will share the story of discovering this book, acquiring the English rights, completing the translation and editing process, and tracking its success so far. Books will be available for purchase.
The Northwest Literary Translators, part of the Northwest Translators and Interpreters Society, meet the third Thursdays of most months at Folio, the Seattle Athenaeum. For more information, join our Facebook group.
