Advanced Development Solutions is offering a two-hour webinar on rheumatology for medical interpreters by instructors Huyen Dao and Joshua Kretchmar. Approved for 2 credits by Washington DSHS.
This two-hour online workshop provided by Advanced Development Solutions (ADS) will equip medical interpreters with basic medical terms and knowledge necessary for interpreting during rheumatology doctor-patient encounters. Participants will familiarize themselves with rheumatology symptoms from different scenarios and settings, rheumatology diseases, diagnostic tests and treatments of rheumatology diseases. It also provides an in-depth resource section and exercises to enrich and help sustain the knowledge obtained from the workshop.

About the instructors:
Dr. Huyen Dao is the founder of Advanced Development Solutions. A researcher and entrepreneur with 20 years of experience working in the field of public health and medicine consulting and research, she consulted for the UN, UNFPA, WHO, SIDA, DANINA and non-governmental organizations. Born and raised in Ha Noi, Dr. Huyen Dao is a graduate of the Ha Noi Medical University and the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Dr. Joshua Kretchmar, DO, PhD, is a WA and Ohio licensed medical doctor. He is providing comprehensive urgent care, family medicine and preventive health services at a number of clinics in Washington state including Crossover Health – Microsoft in Redmond, Rejuvenation Medical, Shoreline and One Stop Medical in Kent.
