Join the Northwest Literary Translators at a panel presentation devoted to the art and business of translating graphic novels and comics. Local translators Melissa Bowers, Lola Rogers, and José Alaniz will discuss their experiences translating graphic novels from multiple languages, and Gary Groth from Fantagraphics will join them to present the publisher's point of view.

Panelists will take questions from the audience, and books will be available for purchase at the end of the event - including Melissa's translation of Liv Stromqvist's Fruit of Knowledge.
The Northwest Literary Translators, part of the Northwest Translators and Interpreters Society, meet the third Thursdays of most months at Folio, the Seattle Athenaeum. For more information, join our Facebook group.
