Bridging the Gap Medical Interpreter Training (64 Hours)

This 64-hour intensive, interactive training will cover the content of CCHCP's 40-hour Bridging the Gap - Medical Interpreter Training in addition to special interpreter professional development topics. Topics covered include national ethics standards, the roles of the medical interpreter, memory development, sight translation, mental health interpreting, health disparities (including those faced by the LGBTQIA community), medical terminology, professional development, and more. 8 CE credits have approved by WA DSHS.
Dates: September 17 – 21, 24 – 26, 2018
Times: 9 AM to 5:30 PM daily
Cost: $875. Price is all-inclusive and covers the 2017 edition medical interpreter textbook, bilingual medical glossary, mental health glossary, Guide to Common Medications, language assessment via ALTA Language Services, signed Certificate of Completion with individual certificate, and more!
