What is this about?
Are you frustrated that those utterances just won’t stick? Do you think your notes are hindering you more than they are helping? This webinar will offer a deep dive into consecutive interpretation, a mode that frustrated me, too, until I dove beneath the surface. We will consider the challenges posed to us by this interpreting modality, and brainstorm specific strategies to resolving obstacles that stand in our path. We will also approach note-taking from a new angle, armed with skills of analysis and deeper comprehension. If you are hoping to bring your consecutive skills to the next level, this course is for you!
Certificates of Attendance will be awarded to all who arrive on time and stay for the entire workshop. Please allow yourself enough time to log on and sign in before the webshop begins. While latecomers are welcome to stay for the educational value of the webshop, we will not provide CE credit if you arrive late, for any reason.
No refunds can be given after December 5th. A $10 processing fee will apply for refunds requested before December 5th. Contact the NOTIS office manager for cancellation. Transfer of credits to another workshop is not allowed. No refunds will be given for reasons unrelated to this content, such as unstable internet connection, not receiving reminders, or problems with system requirements.
Be sure to read System Requirements for Zoom.
