On December 3, NOTIS's Northwest Literary Translators are pleased to welcome David Jacobson for a virtual discussion about his work.
David Jacobson is a writer, journalist and Japanese translator. A board member of the Global Literature in Libraries Initiative since 2017, he chairs this year's GLLI Translated YA Book Prize committee. He is the author and edited the translation of Are You an Echo? The Lost Poetry of Misuzu Kaneko. David will talk about the experience of bringing this book to English readers and his work as it relates to translation.
If you're interested, you may order the book here.
Free and open to the public. A Zoom link will be sent to all registrants the day of the event.
