Webinar: Anatomically Correct Idioms

  • 06/29/2018
  • 17:00

This 2-hour *live* webinar, to be delivered entirely in English, has been specially designed for translators and interpreters who work in English and a language other than Spanish (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Vietnamese, etc.)

Idioms are a type of informal English that have a different meaning from the words used in the expression. For example, "hold your tongue" or "you are pulling my leg". They are often by native English speakers, but we need to learn them in order to understand them.

During this 2-hour live webinar participants will learn idioms that include body parts, their meaning in English, an equivalent in Spanish (for the Spanish class), and examples!
