NOTIS and Folio's series of events for literary translators continues in May with a presentation by Catherine Maxson and Alexander Montgomery of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. This is your chance to learn about copyright, permissions, contracts, and other legal issues facing literary translators.
Catherine Maxson focuses on copyright, trademark, and other areas of intellectual property law, as well as art law. She manages the domestic and international trademark portfolios for clients in a wide range of businesses.
PLEASE NOTE, our usual location (Folio) is closed while they relocate. This event will be held at 1201 Third Avenue, 22nd Floor. Due to space limitations, registration is limited to 30, with priority to NOTIS members. The general public may register starting May 7 if space allows.
Please cancel your registration if you cannot attend.
