Reimbursement for notis member-organized social events outside seattle
To encourage NOTIS members throughout the Northwest to socialize, NOTIS will reimburse members up to $100 once per calendar year for social events they organize at least 30 miles away from Seattle that are attended by 4 or more NOTIS members. Here’s how it works:
- Plan: Plan a happy hour, lunch, or other get-together for NOTIS members in your area (at least 30 miles from Seattle).
- Publicize: Email NOTIS at info@notisnet.org at least two weeks before your planned happy hour/coffee/lunch, so we can publicize it through our social media.
* NOTIS will also email NOTIS members in your area to invite them.
* You are welcome to invite students of translation and interpretation, local businesses engaged in translation and interpretation, and all the translators and interpreters you know. - Party! Attend your event and enjoy.
* Take a few photos of attendees (with their permission to have them posted on social media).
* Jot down attendees' names and email addresses. - Paperwork: Email your scanned receipt, list of attendees, and at least two photos we can post to social media to info@notisnet.org.
* NOTIS will reimburse your costs up to $100.
* Members can be reimbursed for events once per calendar year. - Be Proud: Thank you for keeping translators and interpreters connected throughout the Pacific Northwest!
